We are different.

We are different because we want you to THINK! We want you to QUESTION! We want you to understand that life is not as simple as black and white; it is many shades of gray. We want you to understand that no one has the right answer for everything. We believe that evil exists on an even plane with good and thus it takes work to be good. Evil can also present itself as good and thus one needs to always seek the truth to find good and not accept something as told that it is good. As humans were imperfect and thus will do and say things that cannot always be trusted, this in our minds is a FACT of human nature. Therefore we ask that you be one who seeks out the facts, even beyond your classroom..

Believe it or not, the level of ignorance and racism in this wonderful country is still at an unacceptable level. If we truly want to be the shining light on the world, we still have some very serious problems to solve. We lived in rural Arizona for awhile and the things we heard takes you back to 1950, yes as witnessed with the Obama campaign there are pockets in America where racism is as entrench as it was during the civil war. Just imagine, these are the same people who talk about freedom and democracy, about being the living example of goodness to the world, (its an oxmoron). We as 4th generation Americans are embarrassed by these people, yet we take their racism as a serious treat.  Go beyond coastal America and you enter a cultural desert, where people believe that women belong in the kitchen, all African American men are criminals, all Mexicans are illegal, live on welfare and if you wear a pink shirt, your Gay. These people are proud to be racist, sexist, ignorant and belligerent and sometimes are extremely dangerous, (not much different than gang members, the Taliban and Nazis). This area is a large vast geographical area and there are many of them, so beware and always vote against them.

The good news (and the reality) is more Americans live in coastal America and coastal America is where the largest tax revenues to the U.S. Treasury come from and free thinking flourishes. Coastal America is also where most creativity happens, like new technologies, new ideas and new businesses; all things which keep our economy and country strong. This is also where we believe most people with open minds and a willingness to learn, habitat.

This is our audience and welcome.

(Want proof? See census bureau PDF file). For instance in 2005, California contributed $265,783, 657 in tax revenues compared to Arizona's $24, 012, 314 or Tennessee's $42, 060, 538.

But there is danger to job and wealth building opportunities for talented people of all colors, sex and creed and to America as a whole, (THE FUTURE IS ABOUT TALENT NOT ABOUT COLOR).

These people are standing in the way of the next GREAT industrial opportunities in Gene, Bio-Med and Nano-technology. These are global based industries that are not beholden to racist and backward thinking theologies. These new global industries need the talent of any creed, color or gender. In other words, if your not properly educated and talented in the near future you will have a life long life style of economic struggle. It's a GLOBAL economy that will grind each and everyone one of us down if we are not prepared. Color will not protect you or work against you. Making excuses for failure because of a broken family unit will not work anymore either. "Global Competition" and "WHO" can obtain access to scarce resources, (knowledge, sustainable energy, money, etc.) will be the "drivers" of this new day. Debt in this new day will be a burden like never before. If we are not careful, many of us will find ourselves chasing behind China and even India, as our "standard-of-living" lowers to match the world, (we will need to do this to stay competitive). Thus those who feel "entitled (rich snd poor), will soon know what life is like for the average Chinese or East Indian. Welcome to the Global Economy!! Its not about military power, its about BRAIN power!!

How is this possible?

One of the reasons is our outdated and backward 18th century distribution of senatorial power; think about it, every state gets (2) senators!! This means that California and New York are being held back by less producing and conservative states like Tennessee, Arizona, Georgia and Alabama. WHY? Because they have abnormally powerful voting rights compared to their tax contributions and population base. Also their conservative populations tend to fund education less and therefore have higher levels of functioning illiterates. (People who can barley read and thus are not capable of “constructive decision” making). Thereby producing a population that is easily propagandized and believe everything that corporate news tells them, thus voting for issues that do not serve the average American.

America's cheap resources are gone and now we must compete with the world, outside of these neo-cons racists no one else buys their Manifest Destiny mantra, so in essence its time to compete equally. This means with our brains not our brawn.  We still have great universities, but the excellent side of the U.S. education system is becoming tilted towards the rich, (and history can tell you what happens to that type of country---Rome, Egypt, England). They become in-bred just like the hillbillies in the mountains and thus incapable of creating policies for the good of us all. Talent is not rich or color based, its human based.

To counter-act these people and thus to provide opportunities for yourself and all people of color, creed and gender you must understand that you have power. Power of the vote and all enlighten people should vote, you may not feel that your vote counts but it does. The 2006 elections demonstrated this----you had a "rubber stamp" and "corrupt" congress that allowed us to get into an unnecessary war, while padding their personal pockets with corporate lobby money and HUGE retirement packages. They have been thrown out. On the Iraq war, how it will play out is anybody's guess, (we are wishing for the best and peace for the Iraq people).

[Also our sympathies go out to the thousands of soldiers who have given their lives for our country. As a vet I know their pain. Afghanistan was one thing, Iraq is another, (I don't buy the weapons of Mass Destructions----the real evidence does not support this argument]. We believe it was about unfettered access to OIL and the Manifest Destiny.

As an African American I would love to see Robert Mugabe (a horrible dictator in his own right) of Zimbabwe thrown out, but I would not start a war over it, (we can't afford it and besides its not within our rights). And further more we don't support seeing Americans died for right-wing neo-con fantasy-based racist centered belief systems. Zimbabwe has tons of resources and rich farm land that this dictator is squandering away, while killing thousands of his own people. He needs to go as did Saddam Hussein, but it is our opinion that this is something the world should do together, not the U.S. alone.

Also on another issue, It is our opinion that many Historians are intellectually lazy as well as are cultural and sexist chauvinist and thus have perverse many peoples' opinion of other peoples' real history. Thereby have wrongfully deprived people of their rightful place in history; in our minds this is a terrible tragedy that needs to be corrected. It's ok to mention names during Black History month, or National Women's History Month, but to understand and then internalize the SIGNIFICANCE of their contributions to American history and the American economy brings a whole different PICTURE to the story. In order for this transformation and paradigm shift to happen, we believe the story has to be told in a different, honest and forthright way, to as many people as possible.

This historical racist and revisionist selective story telling has also failed to create a diversity of Positive Role models. Diverse and Positive "Role Models" are so important to a successful multi-cultural culture & society. Today many different types of Positive Role models are so badly needed for so many different young people, it is our hope that this little web site will be a counter to so many lies and selective stories that failed to go beyond one type of role model. 

In summary, we hope to get you to rethink your so-called cherish belief systems, (politics, race, gender, etc.) and understand how IMPORTANT an impact DIVESITY had on American history, culture, industry and economy. AGAIN, (cannot say it enough times) many different types of people have helped to EXPAND major industries, creating thousands of jobs and creating huge opportunities for individuals to make huge amounts of wealth.
